Join us for our first event!

Join us for an informal chat around the fire in the Yarning Circle. Watch the sun set over Maleny as we share knowledge while meeting new and familiar faces.

Each month (on the last Friday) we will explore a different theme. Some months we will invite guest speakers, some months we may simply share stories around a topic. And other months may be led by knowledgeable members, staff or volunteers who have a range of skills and talents in different fields. If you have ideas, bring them!

Bring a picnic rug or chair, pack some beverages and a cheese platter or snacks, and join us for a meaningful yarn with fellow members, Barung staff and our wonderful volunteers.

July’s topic: Identifying native plants and our connection with nature.

Feel free to bring samples of plants you need help identifying (please bag anything you suspect to be a weed though).

When: July 29, 4 pm - 6 pm

Where: The Yarning Circle, Barung Seed Forest, Parklands Dr, Maleny (off Porters Lane)

Please note this is a members only event.

    To book, please register online
